Ross Didier 

One of Australia’s most inventive furniture designers, Melbourne-based Ross Didier is guided by the founding principle that his products must be innovative, intriguing and functional.

Since founding his studio in 2000, Ross has successfully launched more than 25 ranges into local and international markets.

Didier’s work is underpinned by a strong philosophy that manufacturing, ideas and design are interwoven – an approach to designing he refers to as engineered art.

Didier’s versatility and maturity in design is guided by the founding principles that the products created must have ch

aracter with quality, and be functional to the user and their environment.

This approach has established Ross Didier as one of Australia’s most successful and original commercial designers.

Alice Blackwood

For 20 years she’s passionately advocated for the Australian architecture and design industry, her roles spanning that of design editor, journalist, communications strategist, and program director.

She served as Editor on Indesign magazine and Indesignlive.comuntil 2023. She has been integral in establishing numerous major platforms that recognise and celebrate the region’s most exciting architecture and design, elevating its industry leaders into the global spotlight. She has contributed in a programming and strategic communications capacity on major international design festivals, the INDE.Awards, and the Artedomus and The Local Project’s (Emerging) Designer Awards. In 2024 she was MC for the ULI Australian Conference and, in 2023, an MC and Host for the INDE.Awards. 

Alice continues to play an active role within the Australian design and media landscape as a moderator, MC, judge, commentator, mentor and advisor.
